Music t-shirts are a popular trend that has its roots buried deep in the hippy culture of the late. You can find them all over the mall, in department stores, online, and at flea markets. Some of the oldest bands and musicians around are still showing up on t-shirts, like Elvis Presley and the Grateful Dead. Many of the t-shirts are also no longer simple silk screening. Some of them include sequins, beads, and buttons to adorn them and give them a fresh look.

Whereas music t-shirts, especially from concerts, used to come in just black, you can find them in just about any colour of the rainbow now. For example, the country band Brooks & Dunn used a tan t-shirt one year to sell during their concert tour. Concert goers may even find music t-shirts in sweatshirts and the popular hoodies, another choice for local high school bands. No matter what type is produced, the base colour is no longer just white and black.
